JUNIOR OILERS ACQUIRE SHARP FROM BRAHMAS

The Tulsa Junior Oilers have acquired defenseman Colin Sharp from the Texas Brahmas.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the NA3HL and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Thursday the acquisition of defenseman Colin Sharp from the Texas Brahmas in exchange for one 2025 tender and a third-round draft pick (Granite City).

Sharp, 18, has appeared in 11 games this season with the Brahmas, registering three assists.

“We are eager to get Colin in here to help build this program,” said General Manager Chi-Yin Tse. “He brings in depth, size and experience having already played with the Brahmas. He already knows what it takes to compete in this division.”

Prior to the Brahmas, the 6-foot-1 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma native spent last season with the Oklahoma City Warriors 18U AA, recording five goals and seven assists in 19 games.

The Jr. Oilers are back in action at home on Friday, Jan. 24 against the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from the WeStreet Ice Center is set for 7 p.m.
