The Tulsa Jr. Oilers are the newest addition to the now 35-team NA3HL, beginning play at the brand new WeStreet Ice Center in 2024-25 — the league’s 15th season. Tulsa joins the South Division, currently formed by the Atlanta Capitals, Austin Ice Bats, El Paso Rhinos, Louisiana Drillers, Mid Cities Jr. Stars, New Mexico Ice Wolves, Texas Brahmas and Texas RoadRunners.
The NA3HL is the only Jr. A Tier III league in the United States and prepares players for collegiate and pro careers. Affiliated with the NAHL, the only Jr. A Tier II league in the United States, the NA3 provides young players with opportunities and exposure that competing leagues can’t.
While new to the league, Tulsa is not new to hockey. The ECHL’s Tulsa Oilers — also owned by Andy Scurto — boast a history going back more than 90 years, and have one of the largest season ticket holder bases in professional hockey. Several Oilers, including current forward Reggie Millette, played in the NA3 before playing in college and beyond.
