JUNIOR OILERS SIGN DEANDA
The Tulsa Junior Oilers have signed defenseman Elijah DeAnda
TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the NA3HL and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Wednesday the signing of defenseman Elijah DeAnda.
DeAnda, 18, begins his junior career after spending last season with the Texas Jr. Brahmas 18U AA. The 5-foot-11 defenseman registered two assists in 20 appearances.
“Bringing in Elijah adds depth to our team,” said head coach Zac Desjardins. “It also pushes everybody on the back end to work harder and to not be comfortable. Bringing him in also allows us to move some guys back up front, adding competition all around.”
Tulsa returns to home action on Friday, Oct. 25 against the Atlanta Capitals. Puck drop from the WeStreet Ice Center is set for 7 p.m. All games can be streamed on NATV.
